Thank you to the Craig H. Neilsen Foundation

AdapTee Golf was awarded, in October 2024, a two-year Creating Opportunity & Independence grant from the Craig H Neilsen Foundation.  Since 2002, the Foundation has awarded over 2300 grants totaling over $360 million in support of programs and scientific research to improve the quality of life for those living with spinal cord injury.  A few of the major milestones achieved by the foundation since its creation include the launching of its SCI medicine fellowships, opening support for psychosocial research, the creation of the Neilsen Scholarship program, and the groundbreaking of the Craig H. Neilsen Rehabilitation Hospital.

With a focus on five major values of leadership, inclusion, excellence, creativity, and collaboration the Foundation will realize a future in which individuals with spinal cord injuries, and those who care for them, will live full and productive lives as active participants in their communities.

With the Foundation’s generous support, AdapTee Golf will expand its number of regional leagues from one to six while establishing regional and national competitions for the spinal cord injury community.
